Remodelling & Refurbishment

A modest Victorian terrace had previously been divided into two flats. Both had their own front door and private garden access, but the layout was poor and provided compromised entertaining spaces.

As part of a complete renovation of the upper flat we re-arranged the internal spaces, opening up the loft in the rear room to create a double height dining space with long views to the rear of the building.

The kitchen and bathroom were moved to the centre of the plan and designed to use the minimal amount of space, giving greater area to the habitable rooms and a better outlook from them.

The work was undertaken on a tight budget and managed to deliver a better internal arrangment creating a much improved flat.
